So it is offical...Sebring is getting some big city stores and taking one more step out of hickdom. Starting this winter will be the construction of a ery large shopping plaza (different from a strip mall in that it will have real stores as opposed to po-dunk sorry shops that go out of business every year). By the end of next year we will have a Circut City, a Michaels, a Marshalls, and like 4 other stores I don't care too much about. There is even a rumor of an Olive garden going in there too!
Granted the olive Garden isn't a sure thing, and there is no Best Buy, Barnes and Nobel, Toys R Us, Target, or Old Navy...but it is a step in the right direction. I am torn however because Of all the natural landscape that has to be distroyed because of this progress. I just wish progress coulld take place by tareing down the current strip mall eyes sores that liter our city right now.
